Keep project material in one place
See a project’s files, images, video and links together, in one place.
Material is on Plus, Business and Enterprise, and is rolling out to workspaces. If you don’t see it yet, it isn’t on for yours.
What Material shows
Material sits in the project’s header with a count. It opens the project’s material at its own address, using.link/<Link>/material.
- Files uploaded to the project in Link.
- Images, video, files and links already on the project page in Notion.
- Previews of the links, fetched by Link.
Filter by Photos, Videos, Links or Documents, and group items into categories of your own.
Upload a file
- Open Material on the project.
- Drop files on the page, or choose Upload anything.
- The file appears as soon as it has uploaded.
A project holds up to 50 uploads. Web page files such as HTML, SVG and XML can’t be uploaded.

Who sees it
Link admins upload, sort and remove material. Everyone who can open the project can see and download it, visitors to a public project included. On a public page, automatic redaction also covers file names.
Opening files
Images open in Link’s viewer, together with the images on the page, and PDFs open in Link. Other files and links open in a new tab.
Files stay in Link
Uploads are not written to Notion, and a sync never removes them. Removing an upload deletes it and frees its storage at once.
On Free, material is hidden but kept, and it returns when the workspace moves to a paid plan.
